In memoriam Hilda, the elephant who died in Mexico City last 24 september 2008 during her escape from the circus. There was a short film on the news here of her lying dead on the highway after she was run over by a bus, which shocked me to the bone. I couldn't forget this moving image, but found it too shocking to use it, so I found another image of an Asian elephant for this In memoriam.
