Saw a beautiful, heartfelt Chinese movie on tv yesterday, called Together. About a young boy who played the violin with his whole heart, as a way to stay close to his mother who disappeared when he was a baby. The movie reminded me of that other music film called The Red Violin. What a gift such movies! What a relief to see beauty and love expressed once in a while, in eye pleasing colors and compositions.
Beauty and love, nothing else. There is so much need for it in this strange and violent world.
